Filippo Perocco
compositeur, organiste et pianiste
Filippo Perocco obtained his diploma in Organ at the "Benedetto Marcello"
Conservatory in Venice with Sergio de Pieri.
In 2001 at the same institute, he took his degree in Principal Composition
with Riccardo Vaglini, obtaining the maximum marks.
Awarded in several competitions:"Cittą di Viterbo" 1997 - National Organ
Competition, "A.gi. mus." 1998 - National Composition Competition "F.
Schubert" 1999 - International Organ Competition.
He took part in the "Internationale Ferienkurse fur neue Musik Darmstadt"
2000-2002 and attended several workshops and collaboration with Ensemble
Resonanz (Berlin).
His compositions have been performed in several festivals (12th
International Review of Composero - Belgrado 2003, The Brighton Festival -
London 2003, "Gaudeamus Music Week" - Amsterdam 2002, Festival
L'interaction homme/machine dans la performance musicale et artistique -
Strasburgo 2002, Compositori a confronto 2002 by DiNuovoMusica,
Contemporary Music Festival - Melbourne 2001, "Comporre il nuovo" - Reggio
Emilia 2000), performed by Holland Symphonia, IXION ensemble (London),
Trio KAIDA (Amsterdam), ASTRA Chamber Choir Melbourne.
He recently has contributed to the texts for La Biennale musica di Venezia
2002.
He is one of the founders of the multiple keyboard ensemble Teclas,
investing his interest towards contemporary creations.
